When is the right age to freeze my eggs?

In my “9-5” day job I see a lot of women coming into the office to freeze their eggs…

🥚🥚🥚

I see them after they have realized they aren’t meeting the right Man or Woman right now and their biological clock is ticking…

🥚🥚🥚

I see them when they can finally afford to freeze their eggs!

🥚🥚🥚

And by this time, they need at least 25 to 35 eggs to ensure 1 healthy live birth.

🥚🥚🥚

Yes, we are born with 1-2 million 🥚s at birth and we ovulate @ 450-500 🥚s in our reproductive lifetime (assuming we were not on birth control pills).

🥚🥚🥚

Misconception – birth control pills do NOT save up on eggs!

🥚🥚🥚

When we stimulate a woman (depending upon her fertility and with the very real fact that the average age of menopause is 35-55 years of age) we may only get +/- 5-10 eggs with each IVF/egg freeze cycle . Most importantly we don’t even know if these 🥚s are healthy until it is time to make a baby with them.

🥚🥚🥚

Each egg freeze cycle can cost anywhere from $10,000 – $15,000 PER cycle… what college girl has that kind of dough lying around???

🥚🥚🥚

To answer the question “When is the best age to freeze your eggs?”

🥚🥚🥚

Consider this: No IVF Clinic will take an anonymous egg donor that is over 27-28 years of age…

🥚🥚🥚

Ladies, DONATE YOUR EGGS TO YOURSELF… before you are over 28 years old.

🥚🥚🥚

To our healthcare system… PAY for women to donate their eggs to themselves so we can keep our species alive…
